Rock for Roddy is a benefit show to celebrate the life of David Rodman Scott and raise money to find a cure for juvenile diabetes. All proceeds will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation .

David Rodman "Roddy" Scott, 30, an award-winning writer and director at MTV who created comic promotional spots for movies and TV programs such as "The Osbournes," and "Napoleon Dynamite" died March 21, 2005 at his home in Brooklyn, NY of complications from Type 1 diabetes. Although Roddy worked in film, his true love was music. This show featuring some of Roddy’s favorite bands is an ideal way to honor his life as well as to further juvenile diabetes research.
